City Of Chicago Pop-Up User License

The City of Chicago requires a Pop-Up User License for pop-up user business activities (i.e. anyone selling merchandise/food in the City of Chicago in a temporary location).
Food Vendors:  Licensed Shared Kitchen Users and Retail Food Establishments may be exempt from paying additional fee to add a Pop-Up Food Establishment User license.  New, and existing licenses must inform the SBC Business Consultant at the time of application.
Our Terms and Conditions, which every vendor agrees to when paying for their space, includes the following:
“Vendor will act with the highest regard for the safety of the attendees and other participants of the Event, and will adhere to all laws, policies, rules, and regulations applicable to the goods and/or activities of Vendor, including obtaining all licenses, permits, and approvals that may be required to enable Vendor to conduct its activities at the Event and fulfill its obligations under this Agreement.
Vendor agrees to collect and remit sales taxes as required by law. All vendors making sales in Illinois are required to report and pay all tax due based on their total receipts within ten (10) days of the close of the Event.”  Link to State of Illinois / IDOR Sales Tax Coupon forms
